Helen Keller, Franklin County EMA offer COVID-19 vaccine clinics

Helen Keller, in conjunction with the Franklin County EMA, is offering two COVID-19 vaccine clinics.

The first clinic will be Nov. 9 from 9 a.m. to noon at First United Methodist Church, 509 4th Street SW, Red Bay.

The second clinic will be Nov. 9 from 1-4 p.m. at Hodges Community Center, 1942 Highway 172, Hodges.

The second dose for each clinic will be Nov. 30.

Pfizer COVID vaccinations will be given to anyone eligible to receive the vaccination. The age group for Pfizer vaccination is 12 years old and older; 12- and 13-year-olds have to have a parent or legal guardian in attendance.

Walk-ins are welcomed, and appointments are not required..
