Class shares boating safety guidelines

Community members attend the first of a two-session free public boat safety class open to ages 12 and older, coordinated by Russellville Fire Department. Those who completed the course received boater certifications, required to obtain a vessel license in Alabama. The class was taught by state trooper Brad Lindsey.
