PHOTOS: Vina celebrates 30th July Fest

The community converges in downtown Vina for the 30th July Fest. The day was filled with shopping, live entertainment, a car show, festival foods, fun for the children and more, topped off by the always-popular firework show.

Sue Emerson and Sheila Millet – represented by her daughter Crystal Page and her two sons, Sawyer and Ryder Page – were the Draw Down winners. As the final two tickets, Emerson and Millet opted to split the prize; Emerson would have been the $17K winner if they had opted to play to the end.

In a bit of extra excitement in this year’s drawing, a man offered to pay each of the last three ticket-holders $5,000 apiece if they would all three sell him their tickets, but they passed on the offer.
