Red Bay basketball star signs with Lawson State

Red Bay standout basketball player Braden Ray will continue his basketball career at Lawson State Community College in Birmingham.

Ray scored 380 points in 24 games this season, averaging 16 points per game. He dished out 96 assists, grabbed 108 rebounds and had 49 steals and 12 blocked shots.

He had 1,453 career points and made 165 three–pointers.

“I thought this was the best fit for me,” said Ray. “I’m really excited to be part of a great program.”
