Awarding star athletes

(From left) Hayden Moss of Tharptown, Emma Dempsey of Belgreen, Bailey Oliver of Belgreen and Lily Pounders of Russellville attend the Bryant Jordan Student-Athlete Ceremony in Birmingham Monday to receive their awards, which were announced in early March. The four local students respectively received the Class 2A Region 7 Achievement Award, Class 1A Region 7 Achievement Award, Class 1A Region 7 Scholar-Athlete Award and Class 5A Region 7 Scholar-Athlete Award.
