Wildcats beat Red Devils

The Tharptown Wildcats found their hitting stroke against the Vina Red Devils this past week, winning 18-2.

The Wildcats pounded out 12 runs in the second inning to put the game away early. Ten players reached base before the first out was recorded in the inning.

Colton Simmons had three hits and drove in three runs to lead the Wildcats at the plate.

Jessie Mitchell, Hunter Motes and Dawson Higgins each had two hits and two RBIs.

Hunter White got the win for Tharptown, striking out eight batters while allowing three hits and and a walk.
