Belgreen waltzes to fifth-straight area title

“You never want to take winning for granted,” said Belgreen Coach Marty Cooper. “Our kids appreciate every win and any kind of championship you can win in a year like this has been. It has been an incredible year for everyone to endure.”

Fifth-ranked Belgreen (22-2) led Phillips 15-6 at the end of the first quarter, but the Bulldogs put the game away in the second quarter.
