Braden Ray dominates in Red Bay win

The Mars Hill Panthers had no answer for Braden Ray, who had a dominant performance scoring 35 points in Red Bay’s 74-56 win last week.

Ray scored 11 points in the first quarter, seven in the second, nine in the third and six in the fourth, making four three-pointers and going seven for 10 from the free throw line.

Red Bay led 20-18 at the end of the first quarter but extended that lead to 33-27 at halftime. The Tigers outscored the Panthers 22-12 in the third quarter to extend the lead to 55-39 in the third quarter.

Jalen Vinson added nine points, and Clay Allison tallied eight points. Lane Shewbart and Tanner Hamilton scored six points each. Hunter Burks had four points. Gage Bays, Arden Hamilton and Alex Kennedy scored two points each.
