Extension makes latest money management calendar available

As a new year starts, many people resolve to make smarter decisions about finances. Luckily for those people, the Franklin County Extension Office just released its 2020 Money Management Calendar.

Unlike any other calendar, the Money Management Calendar is a financial management tool to help individuals and families by teaching them how to reach financial goals; plan expenses; keep spending records for financial decision-making and taxes; and remember payment due dates.

“It is just a great little tool all around,” said Franklin County Extension coordinator Katernia Cole-Coffey.

The calendar comes with tips and instructions for its use and suggestions for making a budget. The calendar gives an example of an expense planning chart to help users make their own planning charts.

The calendar also includes a place for users to put their financial goals, write down tax deductible expenses made throughout the month chart daily expenses.

For more information on the Money Management Calendar, contact the Franklin County Extension Office at 256-332-8880.
