NW-SCC adds new program in partnership with Huntingdon College

Representatives from Northwest-Shoals Community College and Huntingdon College met Thursday to sign an agreement to give students an accelerated path to a bachelor’s degree in business management.

This will be an evening bachelor’s degree program on the Shoals campus beginning in January.

“We are very excited to partner with Huntingdon College and offer this great opportunity to our alumni and current students,” said NW-SCC President Glenda Colagross. “Our students now have an opportunity to stay on campus and complete their bachelor’s degrees. This is another example of how we put our students at Northwest-Shoals first.

“We are always looking for ways to offer them the best educational opportunities we can,” Colagross added.

NW-SCC is the latest partner for Huntingdon’s Evening Bachelor’s Degree Program. Through this program, students attend class one night a week in an accelerated format that allows students to complete their business management degrees in a traditional timeframe.

“We are so excited to partner with Northwest-Shoals on our Evening Bachelor’s Degree Program,” said Huntingdon College President J. Cameron West. “We look forward to working with many of their outstanding students.”
