A doughnut tradition

The Russellville High School Future Business Leaders of America hold their annual Krispy Kreme Doughnut Sale, as they have done for the past 18 years. Among members participating were (from left) parliamentarian Rachel Tena, projects chairperson Billy Alonzo, president Kaydee Don Holland, treasurer Julianna Wallace, vice president Kyra Greenhill, reporter Anna Woods, historian Annsley Gault, vice president Lauren Sturdivant and secretary Ellyse Strickland. FBLA sold more than 700 dozen doughnuts to raise money for the FBLA Scholarship fund. Each spring the club awards cash scholarships to two seniors who will be pursuing degrees in a business field. FBLA sponsor Dr. AnnaKay Holland and the FBLA officers extended their heartfelt thanks to all members of the community who supported the sale – along with a special thank you to FBLA member Yesenia Vargas for being the top salesperson this year.
