Cooking with Coan

A favorite activity in Russellville City Schools’ summer program is Cooking with Coan, when children – from kindergarten and up – have the opportunity to get in the kitchen and cultivate their culinary skills. This week children are making sub roll pizzas. While they learn everything from food safety to how to use a spatula, Coan also focuses on skills and traits like self-esteem, working together, independence and good manners.
