Russellville Public Library holds surplus book sale

While the Russellville Public Library has two bookcases permanently dedicated to books for sale, there is currently a surplus of books available to be purchased.

In an effort to regain storage space and help get more books out into the community, two tables are set up for patrons to peruse the surplus titles for sale.

A table of children’s books boasts preschool and early readers, picture books, chapter books, juvenile fiction and young adult fiction, and there is a table of fiction paperbacks for adults.

Paperbacks cost 25 cents. Other books range from 25 cents to $2.

The Russellville Public Library is located in downtown Russellville at 110 Lawrence St. E. It is open Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

For information on events and services provided, call 256-332-1535 or email ruslib110@yahoo.com. Information is also available on the library’s Facebook page and on its website.
