Electric Cooperative announces power outage

Franklin Electric Cooperative has announced there will be an eight-hour power interruption this weekend starting April 6 at 10 p.m. and ending April 7 at 6 a.m.

The outage will affect the following areas: east of Highway 43, Mountain Star, Tharptown, Waco, Newburg, Saints Cross Road, Oak Grove and Isbell.

Cooperative officials are encouraging everyone to plan ahead for this outage to avoid any problems.
