MSU student wins scholarship

Mississippi State University student Nicole Sumerel, joined by her father Michael Sumerel at the awards luncheon, receives a scholarship from the Mississippi Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks Foundation. Sumerel, who graduated from Itawamba Community College with a degree in forestry technology and an Associate of Arts degree in 2017, will be beginning her senior year at MSU majoring in wildlife, fisheries and aquaculture in conservation law enforcement with a double minor in sociology and criminology.
