Spring youth sports signups begin

The Russellville Parks and Recreation Department has announced spring sports signups are now open. March 2 is the deadline to apply.

There will be softball for girls ages 6-12, with 8U, 10U and 12U Divisions.

Soccer teams will be co-ed for boys and girls ages 3-12. Children will be divided into 8U, 10U and 12U Divisions, plus the Biddy Boddy group for 3-5-year-olds.

T-ball teams will be co-ed for ages 3-5.

A $35 registration fee is required per child, but there is a $5 sibling discount.

Carrie Dover with Parks and Rec said about 200 children signed up for spring sports last year.
