Letter to the Editor: Special election calls for due diligence

Dear editor:

I would like to ask the voters of Franklin County to please do research on the candidates before going to vote Dec. 12. This is a very important election.

As we know, one of the candidates has had some serious allegations brought against him. He has been tried, convicted and sentenced by many without any credible evidence. We would do well to look into this before making a decision.

The issue of partial birth abortion is one of the most important issues to consider. The two candidates have totally different views. The senator you choose could very well be the vote that causes this nation to go one way or the other on abortion.

I ask you again: please do your research and make an informed decision. Most important of all – pray.

Sincerely,

Evelyn Ann Hill
