Athens State announces Provost’s List
Athens State University recently revealed students who were named to the President’s List and Provost’s List for the Summer 2017 semester – including three from Franklin County.
“Through much hard work and determination,” the announcement reads, “these students excelled in their coursework and achieved remarkable academic success.”
Provost’s List honorees include:
Austin Jones, Phil Campbell
Elizabeth Wooten, Red Bay
Kamri Sears, Russellville
Athens State was founded in 1822, making it the oldest continuously-operated institute of higher learning in the state of Alabama.
