Mable A. Rogers

Mable H. Rogers, 91, of Russellville, passed away Aug. 22.

Visitation will be Aug. 24 from 6-8 p.m. at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville. Funeral services will be Aug. 25 at 11 a.m. in Akins Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Bert Fowler officiating. Burial will be at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Russellville.

Mrs. Rogers was born June 2, 1926, in Franklin County to Fred and Vivian Herring. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Isaac H. Rogers, her son Douglas Riley Rogers, her sister Frances Williams and brothers Donald Herring and Gerald Herring.

Mable is survived by a daughter Regina Rogers (Jennifer), sisters Catherine Jenkins and Carolyn Epperson (Jody), and a brother Harold Herring (Sarah).

Pallbearers will be members of the Russellville Masonic Lodge.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Alabama Baptist Children’s Home P.O. Box 361767 Birmingham, AL. 35236-1767.
