Clovis Hubbert Fowler

Clovis Hubbert Fowler, 82, passed away Aug. 15 at his home. He was born in Hodges and was retired from Franklin Electric Cooperative after 38 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a specialist in top marksmanship.

Private graveside services were held Aug. 16 at Halltown Cemetery. Burial was in Halltown Cemetery, Vina.

He is survived by his wife – Imogene Fowler, Red Bay; four children – Jon Arnold, Jenny King, Laura Manning and Hannah Jackson and husband Rhett Jackson; eight grandchildren – Katie Benefield, Andrew Fowler Thigpen, Sarah Weichman, Jon Christian Thigpen, Mary Elizabeth Moore, Samuel Fowler Moore, Jean-Marie Moore and Nathaniel Clovis Moore; two great-grandchildren – Aidan and Ethan; and four sisters – Marie Fowler, Polly Zumbado, Chesteen Ellenburg and Mary Nell Henson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Jewel and Arrie Fowler, and a brother, Hollis Fowler.

Pallbearers were Andy Thigpen, Rhett Jackson, Frankie Fowler, Jeff Fowler, Rick Fowler and Frank Fowler.
