Dorothy Lorene Allen

Dorothy Lorene Allen, 91, passed away June 22 in Hodges. A native of Franklin County, she had lived there all her life and was a member of Shady Grove Freewill Baptist Church.

Visitation for Mrs. Allen will be June 24 from noon until 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. Services will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, and burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery at Liberty Hill.

Survivors include a daughter, Janie Holland and husband Stanley; siblings, Fayrean Hensley, James Cleveland, Cecil Houston Cleveland, and MC Michael; and one grandchild, Bradley Holland.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Josephine Michael; spouse, Edward E. Allen; and daughters, Nancy Allen and Barbara Allen.
