Mary Rose

Mary Rose, 82, passed away June 13 at her residence. She was born in Golden and worked as a nurse for 40 years.

Services were June 15 at 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. Roger Wood officiating. Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery, Vina.

Survivors are four children – Sharon Blair, Norman Rose and wife Margie and Dora Ewing, all of Golden, Miss., and David Rose and wife Tracy, Fulton, Miss.; 13 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Nellie Rue Wooten, Dennis, Miss.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Rose; her parents, Roy Chandler and Susie Kingsley Chandler; a grandson, William Rose; a great-granddaughter, Danelle Humphries; three brothers and one sister.

Visitation was June 14, 6-9 p.m., at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
