Raymond Junior Baker

Raymond Junior Baker, age 64, Sheffield, passed away May 29 at Helen Keller Hospital.

Junior was a retired truck driver with Pilgrim’s Pride. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He would always be willing to help anyone he could.

The visitation will be 6-8 p.m. May 31 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. June 1 at Spry Memorial Chapel. Burial will be at Gray Rock Cemetery in Phil Campbell.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lillian and Raymond Baker; brother, Leon Baker; and wife, Lucille Aday Baker.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Myra Thigpen Baker; step-daughters, Kathy Hughes and husband Nicky and Miranda St. Clair and husband Jeff; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Jimmy E. Baker and wife Eva and Frankie Lee Baker and wife Patti; sister, Gail Michael; special aunt, Louise Baker; and several nieces and nephews.

The pallbearers will be Gene Ward, Curtis Winstead, Ronnie Gaston, Duncan Ward, Jimmy Baker II, and Jeff St. Clair. The honorary pallbearer will be Tiffin King.
