RMS plans art exhibit

As the end of the school year nears, one group of enthusiastic students is planning their final showcase.

The Russellville Middle School Art Exhibit will be held May 16 from 5:30-7 p.m. in the RMS Media Center.

Art teacher Nancy Meeks said about 200 piece of middle school art will be on display, representing all the artistic energy exuded by her students this year. To cap the evening, Meeks will present a number of awards to the talented young artists.

There is no admission fee. Parents, teachers and the community are invited to attend. RMS is located at 765 Summit Street in Russellville.
