Jackie Dale Harris

Jackie Dale Harris, 73, of Waterloo, passed away April 28 at ECM Hospital. Having lived in Waterloo for the past 25 years, he moved there from Phil Campbell. Mr. Harris graduated from the LSU School of Banking and retired from Farmers and Merchants Bank in 2015 after 24 years of service. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Waterloo.

Visitation for Mr. Harris will be May 1 from 5-8 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. Services will be May 2 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Richard Fox and Wade Austin officiating. Burial will follow in Hyde Cemetery, Littleville.

Survivors include his wife of almost 50 years, Edna Faye Harris, and children, Angel Deann Harris and Michael Shane Harris and wife Michele. Grandchildren include Lillie Harris, Eden Franks and Ella Franks. A host of friends, nieces and nephews also survive him.

Mr. Harris was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Jackson and Lena Catherine Trapp Harris. Siblings who predeceased him include Athel Harris, Pauline Boyles, Orbie Harris, Ira Harris, Lowell Harris, Carolyn Bracken and Rebel Harris.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Waterloo.
