Tharptown to host 1A, Area 13 Softball Tournament next week

Tharptown High School will host the 1A, Area 13 softball tournament May 1-2.

The tournament will begin at noon both days. The two teams to reach the finals will automatically advance to the regionals.

Vina will play Phillips at noon May 1. The winner will play Tharptown at 3 p.m. that day. Also May 1, Belgreen will play Hackleburg at 1:30 p.m.

The only other game May 1 will be the first elimination game. All remaining games, including the finals, will be played May 2.
