Alexander L. “Alex” Hall

Alexander L. “Alex” Hall, 27, passed away March 5 at his residence. He was born in Alabama, was an equipment operator for 16 years and was of the Baptist faith.

Services were held March 9 at 11 a.m. at New Union Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Daniel Merritt officiating. Burial was in Halltown Cemetery, Vina.

Survivors are his mother, Dena Dempsey and husband Chuck of Hamilton; his father, Mark Hall of Ashland City, Tenn.; one sister, Savannah Hall, Tuscumbia; a step-sister, Shelby Dempsey Pope and husband Daemon, Hamilton; one nephew, Caeson Pope; and his grandparents, James and Bonnie Strickland, Halltown.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Drew and Betty Hall.

Pallbearers were Josh Wigginton, Josh Curtis, Brock Raper, Mike Ingle, Trent Strickland and Greg Scott.

Visitation was March 8, 6-9 p.m., at New Union Missionary Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family of Brayen Blackburn.
