Kenneth Dale Dykes

Kenneth Dale Dykes, 56, passed away March 3 at North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice, Tupelo, Miss. He was born in Waukegan, Ill., and was a truck driver for 15 years.

Services were March 5 at 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. Walter Sparks officiating. Burial was in Ridge Cemetery, Golden, Miss.

Survivors are his mother, Lovie Dykes, Red Bay; two sons, Anthony Dykes, Dennis, Miss., and Christopher Dykes, Murfreesboro, Tenn.; two grandchildren, Brianna and Jasmine Dykes; seven siblings, Terry Dykes and wife Dena, New Albany, Miss., Marvin Dykes and wife Kathy, Roy, Wash., Carlton Dykes, Red Bay, Sandra Vick and husband Ricky, Vina, Brenda Snook and husband Rusty, Hamilton, David Dykes and wife Angela, Florence, and Cinda McCarley and husband Joey, Hodges; and a host of nieces and nephews.

His nephews served as pallbearers.

Visitation was March 4, 6-9 p.m., at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
