Billy Ray Mills

Billy Ray Mills, age 57, of Phil Campbell, passed away March 4 at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital.

Visitation will be March 6 from  5-6 p.m. for immediate family and 6-8 p.m. at Akins Funeral Home Russellville. Billy will lie in state from noon to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Funeral services will be March 7 at 2 p.m. at Blue Springs Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. John McCullar officiating. Burial will be in Blue Springs Cemetery.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Marie Mills, one brother Danny Mills and one sister Gladys Mills.

Billy is survived by his son Billy Lee Mills, his daughter Amanda Calhoun, sister Linda Calvert, brothers Jerry Mills and Terry Mills, grandchildren Jennifer Chasteen and husband Austin, Kristin Mills, Michael Porter and Dunsten Porter and a host of special nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Mills, Joseph Calhoun, Austin Chasteen, Kevin Johnson, Shane Baker and Eric Mills.
