Travis Franklin “Frankie” Quillen Jr.

Travis Franklin “Frankie” Quillen Jr., age 63 of Russellville, passed away Feb. 24 at his residence.

Frankie proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a devoted Alabama fan who loved his family. He worked in carpentry, hanging sheetrock, and was a jack of all trades.

The visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Feb. 27 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with a memorial service following at 11 a.m. in the chapel.

He was preceded in death by his father, Travis Quillen Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Joey Quillen, Toby Quillen, Lisa South and husband Rodney and Derrick Hester; grandchildren, Josh Quillen, Kayla Carpenter, Brandon Quillen, Kaylea Quillen and Karley Quillen; two great-grandchildren, Olivia and Jason Adams; mother, Myrtle Myrick; sister, Cathy Gray and husband Cotton; nieces, Danielle Hanback and Lindsey Rich; and special friends, Mike Myrick, Charles Poston, Jerry Morgan and Walter Wilson.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation to Frankie’s funeral expense.
