James D. “Jim” Griffith

James D. “Jim” Griffith, 92, of Rogersville, passed away Feb. 16 at his residence. He was retired from Monarch Tile, Florence.

Visitation will be Feb. 18 from noon to 1 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home with funeral service immediately following. Burial will be in Harvey Cemetery.

Mr. Griffith was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Nellie Griffith. He is survived by his wife, Lois Fleming Griffith of Rogersville; stepdaughter, Vickey Garrett and husband Dick Green of Rogersville; sister, Ellen Lewis of Clearwater, Fla.; grandchildren, Matt and wife Staci Green of Rogersville and Christy (Kelly) Forest of Lexington, N.C.; and great-grandchildren, Summer and Case Green.

The family would like to thank the caregivers of Amedisys Hospice Care and Home Health Care.
