Coan, Pendergrass to wed

Cindy Smith Coan and Reece Coan of Russellville are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kara Eleanor, to Seth Adam Pendergrass, of Tuscumbia, son of Bobby and Susan Pendergrass of Tuscumbia.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jimmie Dean Briley of Tuscumbia and the late Stinson Smith. She is a 2013 graduate of the University of North Alabama, with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is employed as a payroll clerk with VF Wrangler in Hackleburg.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Sue Alexander of Tuscumbia, the late Wyatt Alexander and the late Robert and Georgia Pendergrass. He is employed with Sheffield Utilities as a lineman apprentice.

The wedding will take place at 6:00 in the evening on New Year’s Eve at the First Presbyterian Church in Russellville with a reception to follow at the A.W. Todd Centre.
