Tennis athletes compete in fall tourney

Oct. 15, several local girls traveled to New Albany, Miss., to play in the 2016 Northeast Mississippi Fall JTT Team Tournament.

Four of the participants are on the RHS tennis team and expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming 2017 spring tennis season. They have been working since last season to improve by playing in several USTA Tournaments around the state and in the Shoals Junior Circuit.

In the 2016 Northeast Mississippi Fall JTT Team Tournament, the team placed 2nd.
