Betty Hubbard Hammock
Betty Hubbard Hammock, 68, passed away Oct. 20 at Red Bay Hospital. She was born in Itawamba County, Miss., and was a homemaker. She was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.
Services were held Oct. 23 at 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. Tim Farley and Bro. Terry Parrish officiating. Burial was in Red Bay City Cemetery, Red Bay.
Survivors are her husband, William E. Hammock, Vina; three children, Mary Dugan and husband Ed, Conyers, Ga., Shelia Bancroft and husband Stephen, St. Louis, Mo., and John Hammock and wife Irasema, Birmingham; three grandchildren, Jessica, Jack and Ripley; and one sister-in-law, Peggy Hubbard, Red Bay.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Truman Edward Hubbard and Ester Ollie Mink Hubbard, and two brothers, Sherman Hubbard and Lebron Hubbard.
Pallbearers were family and friends.
Visitation was held Oct. 22 from 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
