Mary M. Scott

Mary M. Scott, age 87, Russellville, passed away Oct. 17 at Russellville Hospital.

The visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Oct. 18 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral following at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Officiating will be Bro. Ty Wells and Bro. Keith Prince. Burial will be at Gargis Cemetery in Lawrence County.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyce Ray Scott; sons, Ray Scott and James Hoyt Scott; and parents, Eddie and Susie Demastus.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Faylene Stickley, Linda Malone and Wanda Wells; grandchildren, Phillip Baker and wife Beth, Patrick Devaney and wife Erika, Amanda Devaney, Darrell Scott, Robin Scott, Jason Scott and wife Cassie, Lee Malone, Trina Wells Franklin and husband Oliver, Kip Wells, Ty Wells and wife Kayleigh; 20 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sister, Kathleen Hardin; brother, Troy Demastus; and several nieces and nephews.

The pallbearers will be Phillip Baker, Patrick Devaney, Jason Scott, Lee Malone, Kip Wells and Ty Wells. The honorary pallbearers will be Darrell Scott, Oliver Franklin and Jimmy James.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Kuberg, Russellville Hospital staff and ICU staff, Hospice of North Alabama and the staff of Terrace Manor Nursing Home for your love and care of our family.
