Janet Lee Jaco

Janet Lee Jaco, 56, passed away Oct. 13 at North Mississippi Medical Center, Hamilton. She was born in Ft. Bliss, Texas, worked as a nurse for 35 years and served in the U.S. Navy. She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church, Hodges.

Services were held Oct. 15 at 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. Marty Guidry officiating. Burial was in Pilot Hill Cemetery, Vina.

Survivors are her husband – Herman Jaco, Hodges; two children – Jeniece Winstead and husband Waylon, Phil Campbell, and James Truman “Buck” White, Hodges; nine grandchildren; and her father – Truman Guyton, Hodges.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Cordelia Guyton, and a brother, James Jimmy Guyton.

Pallbearers were James Stewart, Allen Guyton, Lonnie Jaco, Waylon Winstead, Tim Winstead, Wesley Guyton and R.J. Henderson.

Visitation was held Oct. 14 from 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home.
