BTCPA to hold auditions

The Bay Tree Council for the Performing Arts in Red Bay announces auditions for its first production of the 2016-2017 season, “Christmas Belles,” by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten.

Auditions will be held Sept. 18 at 2 p.m. and Sept. 19 at 7 p.m. at the Weatherford Centre in Red Bay. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.

The dates of the performances will be Nov. 10-13, and rehearsal will be begin on Sept. 26.

The cast consists of parts for four men and seven women. Some parts can be played by older teens.
