Earnest Herman Smith

Earnest Herman Smith, 73, Albany, Ore., passed away Aug. 24 at his residence.

He was a native of Russellville but lived in California for several years and for the past 26 years in Albany, Ore. He was retired from Hewlett Packard, where he was a computer aided designer.

Funeral service will be Aug. 30 at 11 a.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, with Jason Thorn officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow in Sunny Home Baptist Church Cemetery in Haleyville.

Survivors include wife, Jennifer Smith; son, Herman Earnest Benjamin Smith; daughter, Krysta LeeAnn Smith; brother, Sherman Smith; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by parents, Earnest B. and Willie Smith.
