Alice Fayrene Lawler Townsend

Alice Fayrene Lawler Townsend, age 76, Laurel, Miss., (formerly of Phil Campbell), passed away Aug. 28.

The visitation only will be 10-11 a.m. Aug. 31 at Spry Memorial Chapel. Burial will be at Liberty Hill Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Freeman Jasper Townsend; parents, Marlin Leon Lawler and Evie Oliver Lawler; and brothers, Verdo Lawler and Frankie Joe Lawler.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Tammy Townsend Black and husband David and Jan Townsend; grandchildren, Karissa Brown and husband Michael and Alex McNees; great-grandchildren, Isabella Brown and Garrett Brown; brother, Jerry Lawler and wife Peggy; and two nieces, one nephew and great-nieces and nephews.
