Willa Mae Mathews

Willa Mae Mathews, 91, passed away Aug. 15 at Red Bay Hospital. She was born in Alabama and was a homemaker. She was a member of Red Bay Freewill Baptist Church.

Services will be Aug. 18 at 12:30 p.m. at Red Bay Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Steve Lindsay and Bro. David Corum officiating. Burial will be in Pilot Hill Cemetery, Vina.

Survivors are four nieces, Glenda Baggett, Karen Tilford, Tammy Howell and Sandy Robinson; two nephews, Terry Mathews and Terry Baggett; and a brother, the Rev. Lowell Baggett.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Mathews, and her parents, Elbert Baggett and Nonnie Armstrong Baggett.

Pallbearers will be David Corum, Jeremy Robinson, Robert Newell, Jeff Madden and Dr. Stephen Ray.

Visitation will be Aug. 18, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at Red Bay Freewill Baptist Church.
