Voting takes place Tuesday for council, mayor candidates

America will vote for its next president in November, but residents of Franklin County – in Hodges, Vina, Red Bay, Phil Campbell and Russellville – will vote for their mayor and city council representatives next week.

Tuesday is the day local residents will have the chance to give input on who will make decisions for Franklin County municipalities for the next four years. Each city and town boasts at least one contested race.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. To find out your polling location, call city hall: Russellville, 256-332-6060; Red Bay, 256-356-4473; Phil Campbell, 205-993-5313; Hodges, 205-935-3445; and Vina, 256-356-4996.
