Wilkinson, Tharp to wed July 23

Chris and Renee Wilkinson, of Leighton, are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Lauren Wilkinson, to Patrick Tharp, son of Ricky and Charlotte Tharp, of Tharptown.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Nancy McCormack and Jackie Gasque, Leighton, and Judy Wilkinson and the late Jimmy Wilkinson. She is a 2013 graduate of Tharptown High School and is pursuing a bachelor of science in nursing at the University of North Alabama. She is employed at Helen Keller Hospital.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Pete Isbell, Harvest; Ruth Kimbrough, Russellville; and the late Bobby and Esther Tharp, Tharptown. He is a 2013 graduate of Tharptown High School and is employed at Flexco Corporation.
The wedding ceremony is set for Saturday, July 23, 2016, at Tharptown Baptist Church.
