Shirley Diane Palmer Patterson

Shirley Diane Palmer Patterson, 65, passed away July 2 at NMMC in Tupelo.  She worked at Lance Garment for a number of years and was a member of Cornerstone Church of God.

 

Services will be July 6, at 2 p.m. at Cornerstone Church of God, Red Bay, with Bro. Rick Bradley and Pastor Jerry Glenn officiating.  Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband-Bobby F. Patterson; three children-Amanda Kent and husband Kenny, Wade Patterson and wife Wenona and Kim Robbins and husband Donald; six grandchildren-Chestun Kent, Luke Kent, Brock Ray, Trent Patterson, Brett Patterson and Carter Patterson; two step-grandchildren-Kyle Robbins and Kaitlyn Robbins; her mother-Birda Mae Griffus Palmer Gann; two brothers-Michael Palmer and Phillip Palmer and wife Kathy; two sisters-Sandra Palmer and husband Carl and Nancy Riddle; four step-brothers-Charles Gann, Johnny Gann and wife Rita, Leroy Gann and wife Brenda and Terry Gann and wife Gail; two step-sisters-Betty Barnett and Brenda Reese and husband Steve.

 

She was preceded in death by her father-James Leo “Buddy” Palmer.

 

Pallbearers will be her grandsons-Chestun Kent, Luke Kent, Brock Ray, Trent Patterson, Brett Patterson and Kyle Robbins. Honorary pallbearer will be Carter Patterson.

 

Visitation will be July 5, 6-9 p.m. at Cornerstone Church of God.
