Doris Marie Holden James

Doris Marie Holden James , age 80, of Russellville, passed away on July 1 .
Visitation was July 3, 1-3 PM at Akins Funeral Home Russellville.  Funeral services were July 3 at 3PM in the Chapel of Akins Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Dickson officiating. Burial was in Jonesboro Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents Herman and Connie Jackson Holden , her son Don James and brothers Olen Holden and Kenneth Holden.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years  Hazel Norris James, sons David James, Daniel James and wife Shelia, and Dale James and wife Susan, sisters Frances Welborn, Martha Mansell and husband Floyd Jr., and Mary Allen and brother  Charles Holden and wife Gwen.  11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Chris James, Brandon James, Austin James, Brad James, David Hayes, Anthony James, Drew Martin and Mackinley Flannagan.
Honorary Pallbearers were Josh Harold and Brian Galloway.
In lieu of flowers please donate to charity or church of your choice.
A special thanks to Jamie Lane, Tangy Jackson, Meagan Horton and all the staff at Gentiva Hospice.
