Bobby Gene Porter

Bobby Gene Porter, age 73, Russellville, passed away May 7 at his residence. 

The visitation will be from 3-4 p.m. May 12 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with a memorial service following at 4 p.m. in the chapel.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Tina Borden and husband Jeff and Rita Porter and husband Donnie; son-in-law, Tony Reeves; grandchildren, Preston Mears, Jr. and wife Elizabeth, Ashley Romans and husband Matt, Dustin Mears and wife Vanessa, Rose Jones and husband Bobby, Laura George and husband Jim, Linda Reeves, Megan Risley and husband Thomas, Jacob Risley and Trent Risley; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Lee Scott and husband Buford and Deborah Sue Rollins; and several  nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Fincher Porter; daughter, Nina Reeves; father, Charlie Junior Porter; mother, Rachel Ergle Porter; and brother, Ricky Porter.
