J.B. Miller

J.B. Miller, 75, passed away May 2 at Generations of Red Bay.

He was born in Mississippi to Arlin Miller and Mae Petty Miller and was a carpenter for more than 50 years.

Memorial services were held May 6 at 4 p.m. at Oak Grove Church of God, Golden, Miss., with Bro. Billy Nichols and Bro. Todd Kemp officiating. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Golden, Miss.

Survivors are one daughter, Vicki Thorn and husband Chubby, Golden, Miss.; one son, Robert Copeland and wife Tammy, Golden, Miss.; son-in-law, Donald Underwood, Red Bay; two grandchildren, Michael Copeland and Courtney Aycock and husband Andrew; one great-granddaughter, Tammera Aycock; two brothers, Elwin Miller and wife Janette and Melvin Miller and wife Edel; and two sisters, Mary Voorhis and husband Henry and Marty Hobbs and wife Larry.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Miller; a daughter, Tammy Underwood; his parents; and a brother, James Ray Miller.

Visitation was held May 6, 3-4 p.m. at Oak Grove Church of God, Golden, Miss.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimers Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., 17th Floor, Chicago, IL 60601-7633.
