Red Bay girls, boys golfers head to sub-state

At the Southern Gayles Golf Club in Athen, the Red Bay High School boys golfers made sure their season will extend just a little longer. A couple of Lady Tigers did the same at Decatur Country Club in Decatur.

April 25 the Red Bay boys’ golf team placed fourth in the sectionals tournament. The players on the team for this tournament were Isaiah Jackson, Codey Cleveland, Zachary Humphres and Austin Milam. They will advance to North 1 sub-state play in Decatur May 2 at Decatur Country Club.

For the girls, Anna Seahorn and Kelly Miller qualified for the North 1 sub-state play at Gadsden Country Club May 2. Seahorn was the runner-up medalist with an 81.
