Summer T.R.A.C.K.S. program offers safe, fun learning experiences

Franklin County Community Education is gearing up for an exciting summer for students. Through the Summer T.R.A.C.K.S. program, there will be field trips, enrichment activities STEM and robotics activities and more.

T.R.A.C.K.S. is offered at multiple sites throughout the county, and each site is staffed with experienced personnel to keep students safe and happy and keep them learning over the summer.

The program begins May 31. T.R.A.C.K.S. opens at 6:30 a.m. and closes at 5:30 p.m. Students may be dropped off or picked up at their parents’ convenience during those hours. Breakfast, lunch and a snack are provided each day.

The Summer T.R.A.C.K.S. program  will be located at each of the county schools: Red Bay, Vina, Belgreen, Tharptown, Phil Campbell and East Franklin.

There is a $20 registration fee; weekly tuition rates are $50 per week ($40 for each additional sibling).

Registration forms may be obtained at any T.R.A.C.K.S. site, at the Community Education office, at the Board of Education office, or on the Franklin County Board of Education website, www.franklin.k12.al.us.
