ASWA names FC All-State athletes

Three Franklin County basketball players landed on the Alabama Sports Writers Association All-State teams this year.

Red Bay forward Darby Madden was named to the Girls Class 2A, First Team. Madden averaged 17 points per game, grabbed 213 rebounds and had 34 assists and 30 blocked shots.

Tharptown guard Max Nolen was named to the Boys Class 2A, Second Team. Nolen averaged 18 points, grabbed 363 rebounds and had 192 assists and 65 steals.

Red Bay point guard Allie Kennedy was named to the Girls Class 2A, Third Team. Kennedy averaged 15 points per game, grabbed 94 rebounds and had 77 assists and 48 steals.
