The AFC serves to engage in educational and scientific activities to improve the beef cattle industry in Alabama and educate youth on the importance of beef cattle in Alabama. Throughout the year, the AFC supports numerous organizations and events that help to educate and train future generations of the livestock industry.

In addition to being high school seniors planning to attend any two-year school and exhibiting excellence in academics and leadership, student recipients must be the children or grandchildren of Alabama Cattlemen’s Association members for two consecutive years.
